Go diving in the crystal clear waters of Baru and explore the incredible underwater world of Colombia’s caribbean coast only 25 minutes from Cartagena with this activity designed for both beginners and experts.
Baru is the perfect natural environment for your first diving experience, as you will be surrounded by the marvellous wildlife that live in the reefs of the caribbean sea. During this mini diving course, we will do two forty minute dives. In the first dive, we will explore the ocean alongside schools of exotic fish and other aquatic life. The second dive will turn into a mystical adventure while we dive through the Garden of Medusa, a theme park at the bottom of the sea, where we will see statues, sunken ships, and a variety of animals that curiously lurk through the park.
The afternoon before the activity, or during the boat ride to the island, our professional instructors will share with us the rules of the dive and how to use the equipment. For the rest of the time, the only other thing you will have to do is enjoy the swim and think about the beauty of the ecosystem and warm, clear water that maintains its temperature even at a 12 mts depth. Prepare yourself to live the underwater experience of your life. We’re sure that after diving in Cartagena, you won’t want to stop!
If you are already a certified diver, you can also coordinate a professional dive with us.
